The saying goes something like, “Seek for that which was lost” which in my case it was my Camera, which has only just turned up, how it got to where it was, I have no idea and I’m thinking it could have been some one’s idea of a joke? |

The lodge opened on time at 6pm and following a minutes silence in memory of W.Bro. Malcolm Jacobs PPrJGD who has recently passed to a Higher Service, the minutes from the last regular meeting were read and confirmed, the Lodge was then honoured to welcome W.Bro. Giles F Berkeley PGJD, Asst Prov Grand Master accompanied by the recently retired Prov DC W.Bro. David Emmerson PGSD, who is known like the old lager advert as “Simply the Best”, they along with other Grand and Prov Grand officers were welcomed to the meeting by the W.M. W.Bro. Graham T Bailey PGJD on behalf of all present. |

The present W.M. who had agreed to continue in office for a Third year was Proclaimed as such by the D.C. all the Lodge officers were then appointed and invested, auditors for the ensuing year were also appointed. A very interesting lecture on Mark Masonry was then presented by the W.M. and W.Bro. Cliff Hughes PAGSwdB, loud acclaim was then given by all present. |

A Grand Lodge Certificate was then presented and explained in fine style to Bro. Robert Ian Wood by the AsstPGM W.Bro. Giles Berkley, who then retired from the Lodge accompanied by Prov Team members, Grand officers and Prov Grand officers. |

After Labour Refreshment! |
There followed an excellent meal at the Festive Board served in fine style by the very efficient and friendly staff, the usual Toasts and Responses were all well received and then all too soon it was over, everyone said their goodbyes and stepped out into the freezing night air, happy with the evenings work and looking forward to the next meeting in this the Friendly and Happy Degree. Mark Well. |
